While in Sa Pa I was experiencing heart palpitations my partner found Dr. Tu online he makes house calls, works from his office and the hospital. We opted to go to his office. He was very responsive on WhatsApp. He told us to come in at 6:30am, he was there waiting for us. He checked my blood pressure and was super concerned as my heart rate was around 190. He told us this was an emergency and asked about insurance. We unfortunately missed the deadline to add on insurance so was paying out of pocket. Because of this he immediately starting treating me with meds to bring my heart rate down. He had me lay down there for 2 hours until my heart rate slowed down to a more normal level. He explained his concerns and asked if he could test my blood. After my heart rate was at a normal level he sent me back to my hotel with instructions to lay down for the day. He told me he wanted to to come back in the evening so he could check again and give me the blood test results. Blood test results everything was at normal levels no concerns. The first visit costed about $230 usd this included the exam, the blood test, the meds and the 2 hour stay with observation by him. When I returned he gave me different meds that would last the rest of my stay in Vietnam as I was traveling back to Ha Noi the next day and than Da nang. He asked me to let him know I was feeling better before I left and if not to call him and he would come to me to assist. This service would have costed me a small fortune in the US so I’m grateful that it was super affordable here. If you need a Dr. please don’t hesitate to reach out to him on WhatsApp he makes house calls if needed. I was super afraid once he said it was an emergency but he assured me he was a medical Dr and knew how to help me get better. Glad I trusted him.

My partner contracted a bacterial infection which left her extremely unwell for 7 days. Dr Tue was able to examine and then treat her via a drip for about 4 hrs. Good service, English speaking and was able to write a report for the insurance company. For what we received (4hrs of time + call out + medication) pricing is pretty reasonable. Would recommend highly if you’re in need of medical assistance whilst in Sapa.

I recently contracted something rather unpleasant from bad food in Nepal, and was panicking over what to do. This place was nearby and thankfully they were able to give me the best assistance and relieve my anxiety. Doctor Tue was able to turn around a blood test in less than 3 hours, gave me the medication I needed, and the documents required for my travel insurance quickly. He even gave me his WhatsApp contact in case I need to follow up with any questions. Highly recommended!

I had to see a doctor to have some stitches removed from my wounded knee plus getting aftercare treatment. The service provided was very professional and the doctor himself very likeable and competent. Paperwork for reclaiming my costs with the insurance also done straight away. I can highly recommend his services.

Bought ibuprofen. They charged me 150000 for something that cost 9000. That’s 16 times the price.

Not a Word of English for a pharmacist is odd. Super rude and mega expensive.

Just go to the hospital first. Very expensive here.

Fixed up my ears from infection. Took his time, spoke English well and made me a medical report for my insurance. Highest recommendation!
